Trielle specialised in publishing comics of licenced properties with multimedia (TV, movies and games) appeal and recognition. Trielle began publishing Simpsons Illustrated with the first Winter 1991 issue, followed by the popular Simpsons Comics series. While early Trielle publications included its own branding, the majority of its publications use the original publisher's branding and are distinguishable from the US original mainly by the Australian and New Zealand pricing. Trielle's non-comics publications included Australia '93: World Youth Championship for the FIFA/Coca Cola Cup (1993); The Phantom 1997 Diary (1996); Blooming ideas: a guide to good growing from Australia's top gardening celebrities (1996); and Nintendo Magazine System, the official Nintendo magazine of Australia (April 1993 to 1996). Trielle is reported to have gone into liquidation in 1998, leaving the licence for The Simpsons available to Otter Press.
